The patented Thorwesten Vent air-cushioned explosion doors prevent ingress of aerial oxygen (stack effect) caused by a fire after an explosion, and loss of gas in case of inert gas admission. The two-step arrangement of the explosion doors avoids high flame and pressure shock speed during explosion propagation.
