Conceptual Safety

With the patented, self-reclosing and re-usable Thorwesten Vent air-cushioned explosion doors and with explosion diverters that are equipped with the same technique, we realise venting concepts for the applications:

• pressure shock resistant silos
• process filters and filters for multiple (or single) spot de-dusting
• grinding systems

Special care must be paid when planning the implementation of the 2 stage explosion venting concept 1 & 2 for grinding systems in which flame- and pressure shock propagation from the mill to the process filter is possible.

This concept can be varied as to also cover situations in which one or more additional separation stages have been or have to be included.
